Over the past three years I have come to admire the determination of your workmen to rescue my antiquated central heating system from total collapse. Their hearts must sink when they see my address on their worksheet, but they betray no sign of that when they arrive.

In the latest episode your man clambered into our loft to sort out what was thought to be a blocked cold feed which was preventing me from receiving hot water. Within a couple of minutes a badly corroded and leaking header tank. This he had to remove and replace while working in cramped conditions in a draughty loft by the light of a single battery powered lamp not something he would be expecting when he arrived at work that day. If he felt frustrated and fed up he gave no sign of it. It took until lunchtime to complete the job and the hot water side of the system still refused to work. So he was back again at 8am the next day, still surprisingly cheerful, to continue what looked like being another long job. But by playing a hunch he had the system fully functioning about an hour later.

I don’t know the name of this workman, or the one who serviced my boiler three days earlier, but I can assure you they both more than upheld the reputation of the company.

Many thanks for excellent service. Phoned in to report a boiler fault at 9.00am, phone answered immediately and help promised. Engineer called at 11.00am and effected a temporary repair which got the system back up and running. New part required and ordered whilst on site. Phone call received at 5.00pm to say replacement part had been obtained and would be fitted next day. Engineer arrived promptly at 8.00am fitted new part and we are back to normal. This is in sharp contrast to anything ever supplied by ******* ***! It goes without saying that we are very happy to recommend Calder.

On Thursday afternoon 24th September I phoned Calder to inform you a radiator in my home had developed a leak. By Friday lunchtime your company had replaced this radiator and the central heating was back in full working order. I should like to congratulate you on such excellent performance.
