Just a short note to express my admiration at the standard of work, and working attitude that your engineers have displayed during the installation of a new CH/DHW system at my home address. Over the past three years I have come to admire the determination of your workmen to rescue my antiquated central heating system from total collapse. Their hearts must sink when they see my address on their worksheet, but they betray no sign of that when they arrive.

In the latest episode your man clambered into our loft to sort out what was thought to be a blocked cold feed which was preventing me from receiving hot water. Within a couple of minutes a badly corroded and leaking header tank. This he had to remove and replace while working in cramped conditions in a draughty loft by the light of a single battery powered lamp not something he would be expecting when he arrived at work that day. If he felt frustrated and fed up he gave no sign of it. It took until lunchtime to complete the job and the hot water side of the system still refused to work. So he was back again at 8am the next day, still surprisingly cheerful, to continue what looked like being another long job. But by playing a hunch he had the system fully functioning about an hour later.

I don’t know the name of this workman, or the one who serviced my boiler three days earlier, but I can assure you they both more than upheld the reputation of the company.
